The hotel was located very close to bus stops, and the harbour. The staff were amicable and helpful and the location was excellent right by Torre railway station. Plus, a fine art gallery was not too far away from the property.

A cute stay in Torquay
The hosts, John and Ani, were cute, ensuring that our needs were met and even accommodating my wife's dietary restrictions with a specially tailored breakfast.
The decor felt quite outdated, and some areas showed signs of wear, which could benefit from a refresh to enhance the overall experience.

The big black and white building is charming, with friendly greetings. Conveniently located near bus stops, it's a nice base to explore from.
As for the decor, I've seen less creepy dolls in a horror film. The room could use a proper clean instead of presenting as a dust museum!

good parking, clean bathroom, comfortable room
A lack of green space for dog exercise nearby!!! The owners could benefit from a more polite approach when addressing guests, especially regarding noise complaints and unexpected entries into rooms!!!

This place was just an excellent fit for a couple of nights in Torquay with good value for cost. The lovely English gentleman at reception made us feel instantly at home. Check in if you can as early as possible to get settled in quickly.
